パスポートを取得したり
個人識別番号や国籍や本籍を証明する書類を待つことなく
手持ちの資金や貯金と相談せずに
持ち物の準備や移動に時間をかけずに
仕事や家族のスケジュール
自分の体調管理にナーバスになることなく
どうすることもできない気象状況や
その条件を受け入れなくても
数週間前から行う
寒暖差や時差に対応する身体作りと
メンタルの安定を保つ細やかな配慮も
不可抗力や外部要因によって
玄関から出られない状況であっても
翼が生えて風に乗って行きたい場所に飛んでいける
究極の願望が
オンラインエキシビジョンを開催するきっかけになりました
アートを観に行くことに抵抗のある方
移動が困難な方
SNSを通じて出会った海外に住んでいる方
同じ国に住んでいるけれどなかなか行けない場所にお住いの方々に
できるだけアクセスしやすい方法でギャラリーに訪れてほしいという想いが
このようなカタチになりました
振り返ればリアルの展示しかないという絶対的な信条はどこからやってきたのだろう
不自由さを感じていたのにこだわっていました
こだわるから発表の機会は減っていきました
わたしは本作と習作・ドローイングの区別をつけないので作品は溜まり
描かれっぱなしになっていきました
いつか発表するときのために作っているわけではない。
そう気付いたときいますぐに届けたい
作品を見たい人たちがどこに住んでいようとも
届けられる場所が思い当たりました
今回出展する10点は勢いのまま一気に制作したものです
そこには衝動や躍動、熱量や喜びが閉じ込められています
季節に合った旬の食材を身体に取り入れることが何よりの栄養になるように
作品にもその季節があるのかもしれない
あるいは…
作品の鮮度と醸造。どちらを選択するか？
たとえば作品は
新鮮な野菜や魚、肉といった生モノではありませんが
それらと同じように勢いと熱量という目に見えない波動は
いつまでも輝きを失わずにいることはできません
時期を過ぎればこの味は二度と味わえないものになることを知っています
たとえば作品は
味噌や醤油、お酒といった醸造品ではありませんが
うまみや美味しさを引き出す方法と同じように
温度管理と湿度、外気との関係に注意を払って扱わなければなりません
それ相応の時間が必要であることを知っています
今作10点を暗所で保管し時間という微生物の力によって熟成されるのを待つ必要はありません
鮮度と勢いを優先し自分のペースにあったスケジュールでエキシビジョンを開催していくことができるからです
そうしたいからです
このエキシビジョンは
海や国境
あらゆる線引きを飛び越えて
創造が新たな創造をうむ空間。

Those who are reluctant to go see art
People with mobility difficulties
For those living abroad
For people who live in the same country but live in places that are difficult to reach
The desire to visit the gallery in a way that is as accessible as possible has taken this form
Where did the absolute creed that in retrospect there is only a real exhibition come from?
I was particular about it even though I felt inconvenient
Because I was particular about it, the opportunities for presentations decreased
I don't make a distinction between this work and studies/drawings, so the works piled up and continued to be drawn
It's not that I'm making it for when I have an exhibition someday.
When I realized that, I wanted to deliver my work to people who wanted to see it as soon as possible.
No matter where the people who want to see my work live
I thought of a common place
The 10 works on display this time were produced in one go.
They are full of impulse, dynamism, heat and joy
Eating seasonal ingredients is the best nourishment for your body
In the same way, works of art may also have seasons
